ELISA ADAMS is an award-winning sculptor from the Boston area, and a first-generation Albanian-American. While she loved drawing and painting as a child, Elisa chose to use her hands in another way—pursuing a successful four-decade career as a chiropractor—while continuing to explore various artistic practices. With a sculpture career spanning over two decades, Elisa has exhibited in more than 100 national and international shows, earning awards from galleries and museums alike. She has participated in major art fairs such as SOFA Chicago, Miami Modern + Contemporary, and Spectrum Art during Art Basel week. Her work has been represented by galleries in Boston, West Palm Beach, FL, and Newport, RI. In 2023, her most exciting commission—a suite of 14 fossil-inspired sculptures—was permanently installed in Boston Children’s Hospital’s Wishing Stone Garden. Adams has also served the arts community as President Emeritus of the New England Sculptors Association, contributing significant leadership and support to fellow artists. Elisa is a represented artist at Three Stones Gallery.
