Works are oil on yupo (synthetic paper). Peony paintings are oil on panel.
There are a hundred thousand species of love, separately invented, each more ingenious than the last, and every one of them keeps making things. — Overstory by Richard Powers
"When one is in the wholeness of nature, we can lean back into that wagon of beauty and find homecoming. The abundance of life teems with humility and hope. For a billion years the natural world has been refining and reinventing itself. We all have much to learn from these communities. I want to create paintings that listen as well as look, that feel more than illustrate. My aim is to create paintings that are the experience of being in an exuberant, vibrant eco-system. Much like relaxing into the company of a friend, she aspires for her paintings to be vessels for the spirit." — Colleen Pearce
